The 8th staging of the Asian Cricket Sixes Tour (ACST) Thailand International Cricket Sixes kicks off next Friday (23rd October)

The tournament will be once again played at the majestic Harrow International School, in conjunction with host local club, the Southerners. The event will once again see participants flock to the Thai capital from places far and wide for their annual pilgrimage.

Up to fourteen teams will compete in the event which will be held over three days, with the Finals taking place on Sunday 25th October.

Participants will converge from China, Sri Lanka, Singapore, India, Australia, Hong Kong, Nepal and England to meet up with the locally based teams and officials to see who will take the 2015 honours.

In 2014 it was the Lankan Masters who lifted the premier Cup competition, ending the Lanka Lions five year spell as champions. The Masters are returning to defend their crown. Last year’s other accolades went to Hong Kong Challengers United in the Bowl and Beer Battered Seadogs in the Plate.

ACST Chairman, Michael ‘Cat’ Maher, is eagerly anticipating the event. “I’m sure that once again we’ll see a fantastic three days of cricket with many friendships being made. It’s great to welcome some new teams coming along, as well as a fantastic new partner hotel at the Windsor Suites, who we can’t thank enough for their assistance.”
