This year we are celebrating our 6th Thailand Cricket Sixes in Bangkok, yet again at the Harrow International School. Our Chairman Mr Michael Maher has done a sterling job with the team entries and we have a number of new sides from China,UK,Singapore and Rayong. Each year we face certain challenges in bringing this event together and we hope that the floods of 2011 don't return and that the Debt Ceiling in the US is extended so we can return to some sort of normality with our lives.Of course since the inception of this event we had the GFC running in tandem which gave us some serious headaches.

I must again thank Vaughan Mc Clear for his assistance and also extend a warm welcome to the host club the Southerners. With their help we have been able to keep this tournament afloat and I'm sure all the participants and particularly the players enjoy playing cricket on the Harrow ground. The Southerners are indeed lucky to have their base at Harrow which provides a great facility for cricket.I do hope that everyone has a great time at this years event and that we also have good attendances at our social functions.Brian Walker will be our host again this year at the Crossbar on the Friday night where the food is always fantastic and the beers well chilled.Saturday night at the Chaophya Park and then a post finals/presentation BBQ at the Moonshine Joint.

I do hope that the cricket is of a great standard and that the theme of friendship through cricket is the focus over the three days.I welcome everyone to Bangkok, the city of Angels, vertical smiles, great food and many new friendships. We all love our cricket and hope that your stories at hope post event express that enthusiasm and warmness that you all will experience. Many thanks to my great friend Akarin who is a power of strength and a person who we can rely on to produce the goods for the benefit for all.

I will be happy to enjoy a few liquid refreshments with all involved over the course of the event. We are all here to promote cricket, the game we love and enjoy both on and off the field.
